Basic Training for Ukrainian soldiers is being conducted in Germany and the UK:

As in tens of thousands. I've read that it's being done in smaller numbers in Spain Specialized training is being conducted in a number of other Western countries.

What I find fascinating is the average age of combat soldiers in Ukraine is thought to be somewhere around 43 to 45. They can't call that a young man's war. Only recently, there has been an effort to lower the draft age from 27 to 25. By previous US standards, both of those numbers seem generous. But I've read that in Ukraine, there is fear of sacrificing the young blood. That the older soldiers have already had their children, etc. There is also the issue that many younger men of draft age have left Ukraine. One other thing, a generational population pyramid where there some eras have experienced a low birth rate. So the old guys have to carry the heavy end of the log.
