One would think in Texas someone was lawfully carrying except they banned carry in bars, just another soft target now.

Targets happy people enjoying life. Can't be a coincidence. Even sitting alone, soaking up the good vibes around you has to bring an ounce of happiness compared to, I want to kill everyone.

They left out any description so the motivation is probably self evident, but I don't know. A lot was going on that day.

It wouldn't change the outcome but it would fill in the blanks. What's important to me may not be to you. No problem. But again, why not report more than somebody did something.?

It will be interesting to see what the evidence is to determine this as an act of terrorism. Considering the global events that happened, could be a loony trying to make a name for himself.

What was in the vehicle?

Seems to be.

The gunman — identified as a US citizen from Senegal — had a Quran in his car and was dressed in clothing described as Islamic garb when he began firing into the crowd.

Because anything reported this soon is likely to be wrong and will only foster conspiracy theories when the correct information comes out, but I guarantee you that one of us reading that reads it as :

The media is notorious for intentionally omitting evidence thats already available to the public. Omitting the truth to prevent conspiracies is censorship.

No hiding the fact that Jihadis want you and I dead.
Which is cool and all. but what ACTUAL EVIDENCE do you have at this point that it was a Jihadis?
If that is what it turns out to be so be it, and I know that the Twittersphere is all a buzz that he was from Senegal or something, but as of when I'm typing this I haven't found any source on that other than random online posts

ETA: Just found this

"There were indicators that on the subject and in his vehicle that indicate potential nexus to terrorism," Doran said. "Again, it's still too early to make a determination on that."

Investigators are trying to determine whether or not the shooting was the result of an act of terrorism or an individual with mental illness, four people briefed on the matter told NBC News.

Those people say that the gunman is a naturalized citizen from Senegal who has been in the United States for 15 years. They added that the information is based on the preliminary investigation and can change as the investigation proceeds today.

One of the people familiar with the matter told NBC News that the early stages of the investigation appear to show that the suspect was a lone actor with no state ties.

My hope is for an individual with mental illness, but time will tell
