I don't have asthma, but a lot of people do.

Would this store for a period of time (i.e., more than a few months)?

My Rx inhaler has an expiration date. So, I suspect that it would be the same for an OTC inhaler. That being said, the date is more than "a few months". And, I have been known to use expired medicine. Maybe even giving myself three pumps instead of the regular two pumps with the expired inhaler.

Mind you that I'm NOT saying that anyone else should do the same.

No one in our immediate family is asthmatic, but it is a common ailment. I didn't realize an OTC version is available and could see putting one in the big metal medkit just because.
