What happened to buy American? I thought vortex was all made overseas?
"... As the production period begins, Vortex® will leverage a talented collective of American aerospace machine shops and American lens manufacturers to supply components to be assembled entirely at Vortex® Headquarters in Barneveld, Wis. ..."

Just curious if it has a ballistic computer could it be EMP resistant? That would suck if one EMP bomb wiped out the military sights on our guns.
The EMP risk assessment made by US a while back showed that things with something that would function like an antenna attached were the most vulnerable, like power transmission lines or an antenna. This makes the power grid and communication systems the most vulnerable. Most cars wouldn't even stop running, and those that did fired right back up.

I think it's likely that these are not susceptible to an EMP, but so far haven't run across that information. In any event, even if an EMP knocked out the computer the scope will still function without power, but without electronic capabilities.
