This is the latest US military configuration as an M4 CAR chambered in standard military 5.56 caliber,(higher ammo capability and better accuracy) this weapon does shoot the
.223; with a six position collapsoble stock. This rifle was built to higher standards with Mil-spec parts, additionally including properly staked and sealed gas key, Chrome lined barrel, secured caslte nut and a very nice trigger pull. The upper reciever includes 16" length barrel with A2 flash hider, M4 4140 chrome moly vanadium(CMV) manganese phosphate Crome lined 1x9 twist barrel, F marked front sight base, flat top upper forged 7075-T6 Aircraft aluminum alloy hardcoat anodized per Mil-Spec and teflon coated black with M4 feed ramps, dust cover, shell deflector, round forward assist, AR-15 Bolt and carrier assembly. Carpenter 158 bolt, 8620 steel bolt carrier heat treated and plated per Mil-Spec, Charging handle and CAR Hand gaurd, This AR is used but only has about 5 round fired. $699

The upper receiver is manufactured by DTI rest of parts are as listed

I see no manufacturers names listed for any of the parts on my computer. I was curious about the make of the lower.
