I'm not a big pin hater, but I don't use them either.
Coctailer carries the BAD selectors and you can put a short on the right only if you like.
BTW all the mall ninjas are using extended pins and ambi safeties.

Thank you for your service And I do mean that

Want me to send you a set of the ninja pins?
You will love them
You can be like Forrest Gump takin' that thing down an back to gether again
Come on,after you leave the compound you never have the safety on again, right? (I wouldn't)

PM me your address

I have bought so many parts that sound great in an add but are literaly counter productive when you get them because of issues like you are having. I got rid of most those parts like the pins for instance because I found them getting in the way of my flush mount quadrail I was using (lwrc arms-r rail). I bought one of those expensive 3 piece billet safety switches that look all neat to find it would come loose on me and fail to work. I've bought a front cross hair iron sight that supposed to give you more precise iron sight shot because the post doesnt obstruct the target but the cross-hairs would fill with mud and debri and get clogged. I've bought extended charge handle levers only to find them sticking me in the ribs when my rifle is slung across my chest. flip up buis that have play in them causes in accuracy at 50-100yds like you wouldnt believe... i can go on and on... so much crap out their on the market. Or let me correct myself...it's crap to the majority of people but made for a specific function. These pins could be great for a rifle tester or someone that works in the R&D field because they may need to break down a rifle several times in a sitting. where as a normal person who breaks down their rifle even just a few times a day at most would not need these pins. I learned the KISS rule real quick and try to stick to it. Now i look for the least margin of error instead of what looks or sounds the neatest. quickness, repeatable reliability, and spares are important virtues

John Moses Browning would probably break down and cry after reading all the bs listed above, over the length of a pin

Am I missing something here? Did the op ask everyones opinion on extended pins?

Good point tbucket. To the op: I would return them and stick with your stock pins. If your bent on keeping them then try another set from another manufacture. Maybe before you order another set do some Internet research on which ones won't interfear with your safety.

Ok guys, thanks for the cute comments. I can asure you there is no mall ninja stuff going on here. I am an avid shooter with extensive professional training. I have my own range and do my own reloading. I have multiple uppers to change weapon configs. I believe in the KISS principle, but sometimes there are convenience add ons available that come from reputable manufactures. I am aware that many people think it is cool to turn their AR into space rifles with lasers, pressure switches, integrated lights, etc. I don't.

I have not seen a 45 degree switch in years and this is the only one I can find... :(
So what about this? >>> Selector Switch: B.A.D. - Standard / Short (45 Degree) Rainier Arms, LLC™ | Browse | Other Lower Parts | Selector Switch: B.A.D. - Standard / Short (45 Degree) <<<
Or this >> Ambi-Safety Selector [P/N: 25776] - $63.00 : Welcome to Knights Armament Company, When Your Life is on the Line... <<

If you do look and find some of the old 45 degree switches they maybe for NFA controlled lowers. And some allowed for semi, three round burst, F/A and safe with moded fire control parts. Or the ones for the Lighting-links that give semi, F/A or three round burst and safe.

Just saw a brand new Christensen CA-15 with both the ninja pins and the ninja ambi safety on it.And there wasn't a problem with working the safety at all.

Sweet gun. Tactical Rifles::Guns::Weapons

Just pay the $3k and forget about the problem. But someone needs to write them and tell them how stupid those pins are.

Update: I left the front extended pin in. That is the most difficult to remove and is not in the way of anything. I returned the rear pin to stock. In the future I will look at the BADASS 45deg, but I want to see one before I buy it. Thank you Skang, netsecsys, and Page.k. I appreciate your input.
