Sounds a lot like Amazon, where their "free shipping" is everywhere on the site with $35 in purchases, only to have their default setting to ding you $6.99 unless you are paying attention. They burn my older parents all the time, so much so that it has hurt their bottom line. They don't shop on Amazon anymore, I convinced them to shop locally. Cost a few more $$$ but not when you factor in the shyster tactics employed.

Pretty simple solution. Buy them a Prime Membership. Or just let them pay more if that works better for you

Don't need to be a member of a buying club, the other services aren't of interest to them. Just looking out for older folks who weren't of the computer age trying to adapt to it.
