Anyone still use stripper clips?

Curious if anyone still uses stripper clips. Wondering why I'm holding onto the ones I have.

I try to use them with lots of practice and patience mosin seems to load easier

I have a Vietnam era bandolier loaded up with .308. On 5rd clips. It looks cool with the M1A setup. I guess if I was ever on my last magazine, it would be useful to speed load the mag in the gun, using the stripper clip guide.

I have seen a shooter on the line at matches use a stripper clip to load his AR during the 600 yard slow fire single load stage. His ammo is bullet down in a plastic ammo box. He slides the clip over the base of one round then uses it to put the round directly in the chamber.

I just pull off the ammo and throw the stripper clips in my safe. I was hoping more people use them for 5.56. Have about 100 of them with 3 guides.

I wish I could find a reason to keep them around for other than storage. Might just have to give them to one of you fine folk.

I just bought more for my M 9130 brass ones at the gun show

I used to keep my money in one when I went to the club.

Let me see if I have this right ...... you used to put money in the stripper clip to be used at the strip club .........

I tried stripper clips but found it works better to just fold the bills over and shove them into the G string.
