I try to put all of my reloaded 2.23 on stripper clips and then ito the 3 clip cardboard box. Makes it much easier to tell how many rounds I have in the ammo cans and also determine how many I'm throwing the range bag. I also use a StripLULA.

Wouldn't mind having one of those. Would probably keep my ammo in the stripper clips.

They're a finger saver when loading my Model 8 and Model 81
Yep, I believe it's the old school 8mm that works with them…bought a bunch to use with my 8's and 81's in 35 Rem because "if" you can find the original strippers they're a small fortune. Haven't tried with the mdl 8 in 30 Rem to see if they work with that cartridge? I found and bought several hundred new 30 Rem cases on an auction for $15.00 which was like hitting the jackpot, and haven't got around to loading any since I did some load development using Lvr powder several years ago. Fun guns to shoot and pretty dang accurate as well.

LVR is a fantastic powder for 300 Savage, what my Model 81 shoots. The stripper clips work great too.

I bought 16lbs when it was cheap and use it for 35 Rem, 30 Rem and 30-30. I've heard there's been some load development making a 308 Win into a whole new round… would need to play with that to see if it's true. When I retire I'll have to spend some time with that.

390 Savage isn't much different than 308 win.
I was getting 150 fps more than with MR2000

I have 8 ammo boxes of 5.56, 30 cal boxes, with all ammo on stripper clips in 30 round boxes and a spoon. They each hold 420 rounds and cost after sale and rebate was around $110 each.

BiMart had them on sale and Federal had the rebates. I would buy a couple every time I went to BiMart. My wife didn't understand, but I can now show her the good investment.

My Pappy always said,
"It's polite to use stripper-clips , otherwise when you tuck a bill into her G-sting it may tend to fall out as she gyrates them hips":s0155:

(…. Oooops… never mind…carry on)
