Another forum I was on had a very well known member post he and his wife were sick, like the flu type sick. He posted a bit then stopped. A week went by and I looked in the obits for him in his state and they both popped up there. I broke the news to the forum and from that day forward I no longer search obits for forum members. I ran a search on local friend last month and found him. Bummed me out.
