Anyone have experience with Bushnell Nitro series?

Bushnell has a generous military veteran discount. I am comparing the Nitro series to Leupold's VX3i. I'll realistically be shooting at steel and paper within 300 yards with a center fire rifle. Hunting is unlikely.

I bought one of the 5x20 nitro scope to put on my .22lr for long range shooting, very nice scope for the money. I dialed mine in for 50yrds and can drop 27 MOA and be dead on at 200 yrds without touching the knobs.
