Anyone good at shortening the LOP on a new stock?

I found a nice laminate stock, but the length of pull is crazy long. Just checking to see if anyone around here does this kind of work, and what it would cost. Ruger laminate stock with Pachmayr recoil pad. It would need to be shortened at least 1.5"
