I bought a new stock from another member yesterday and it appeared to be previously bedded so I removed some of the material to get it to fit, it's a really tight fit but it's still about 1/8th away from where it needs to be. I believe it's failed the function check as well when I keep the trigger pulled back then re rack it.

My brother is a gunsmith in Texas but hasn't worked with m14 style rifles much so I'm looking for help locally.
