Seems that a bolt action pistol for a right-handed shooter should be a left handed action so you can load it without having to change your grip with every shot.

I have an Anschutz Exemplar in 22LR. It is great for shooting ground squirrels.
I once had a XP100 in 22 hornet. it was another great squirrel shooter.
Both are built on left hand actions. Both are naturals for a bi-pod. DR
