nature of seattle.... and unless you're in Everett it's not 2.5 hours. Or did you mean round trip?

I do agree that it is the nature of Seattle, but I still would not classify a 2hr 23min drive (Seattle to designated LT Murray shooting areas) as near. If you are willing to make the drive it is an awesome place to shoot since you can get out to 600+ in the designated area. Other places you can get out further. If your willing to drive to the 'LT Murray' spot mentioned, you could just go the tiny extra bit into Yakima and shot 1000 yards on the range there.
