The usual "talking heads" are saying.....Blah, blah, blah....

GA is the 46th weakest on Gun Laws.
We need more "Common Sense Gun Laws".....
Politicians need to do more.....
Protect the children not the Gun Lobby.
More BGCs,
More secure storage,
More RED FLAGS,
More restrictions on gun owners, etc..... etc.....

Yet.....why no move for "More Capitol Punishment"?

Aloha, Mark

Man, this is disgusting. I was hoping we wouldn't have any nonsense like this for a long time.. it was bound to happen sooner or later, I guess.

What a coward. Going in and harming innocent, unarmed people.. just appalling.

Assuming the murderer is not part of the protected class, we can be sure this will become debate material.
True. If this was teen gang violence it'll quickly get swept under the rug.. however if this was a particular narrative fitting type of character it will most certainly be used as a talking piece for the election.

Soon, the subject will change to.....take your pick?

A troubled individual with "problems"......
Sexually "confused".....
Loner.
Bullied.
Didn't make the TEAM.
Shooter was actually a "nice person" until.....
Noticed a "possible" RED flag but......
Those DRUGS....
Ate too many or not enough.....carrots, peas or whatever.....
It's the parent's/parents' FAULT because.....

Etc...... etc.....

Aloha, Mark

14yo. WTF.

My wife, who taught middle school for 34 years says that, more than anyone, teenage boys are filled with angst and rage. They simply cannot handle their emotions when things get rough for them. Used to be if a guy was angry he'd beat someone up. Now, a gun comes into play.

They need something to take it out on. Chopping firewood with an axe works.

Nine people hospitalized. Many more can have minor injuries treated on the scene.
