I am surprised that no-one has mentioned Portland Outdoor Store.

It used to be a cool place to go (1960's and 70's) for military surplus, ammo, guns and other toys. The last time that I went i, it was commercial clothing and outdoor gear - severely overpriced.

It was a sad experience.
