Hello to all! Don from Boise here, new to the forum. I've been involved in the shooting sports since I was 18 (parents hated guns but I did have a BB gun as a kid). In 1991 I started shooting competitively, CMP and 1995 I switched to long range Palma shooting after attending the Long Range Firing School at Camp Perry, OH. I have shot all over the western half of the USA and in British Columbia, Canada. I have been to the NRA Whittington Center in New Mexico more times than I can remember to shoot the Rocky Mountain Palma Matches. From 1998 to 2009 the wife and I managed the 60 acre Blacks Creek Public Shooting Range outside of Boise. We're now both retired. I spent 20 years in the US Army, 3 years active and 17 Reserves.
