For Sale is American Western Arms Peacekeeper in .45Colt. Mfg in 2000 this Single Action Pistol comes with Factory Box, Paperwork and Factory Cleaning Cloth. Very, Very Clean. Not fired much if at all. Blueing is good along with case color frame. Barrel is 4.75". This is a very good replica of Colt Single Action Army. Very well made and was alitt too close of a replic.
AWA imported single action parts from Italy in 1998/99 and assembly was completed in USA with rich blueing on barrel and cylinder. Case Harding was done on frame and the trigger was highly tuned at factory.
*Colt sued AWA because the name Peacekeeper was too close to Colts Peacemaker. Also the grips AWA used were too close to Colts grips. Colt won the law suit. Only around 2,000 Peacekeepers were made before produ was shut down In 2003.
Will Ship. Asking $850.

Type of Finish: Blue and Case Color
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer's opinion, this bore is a 9 or 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are some light nicks and scuffs on the cylinder and barrel. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun is in Fine Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder locks in each position with no play. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes with an American Western Arms black polymer case, instruction manual and a locking device with key.
Our Assessment: This is a handsome copy of one of the most iconic guns of all time, the Colt Single Action Army. The Single Action Army was in service for just under twenty years until it was replaced with a more modern double action revolver and served in numerous conflicts. This one is chambered for the .45 Colt cartridge just like the original. This pistol is a handsome replica and was used responsibly, it has a vibrant case colored frame paired with a deep blued barrel, grip frame, and cylinder. The bore is bright with deep sharp rifling and the cylinder locks up solidly. This is a prime contender to take to the range for some target shooting or competition and will provide one lucky winner years of enjoyment.
