According to the article, a delivery person claimed to have heard a racist remark from a smart door camera. Amazon proceeded to lock the home owner's Amazon account without warning nor an investigation whether the allegations were true. Since the person had a smart home, i.o.w. a number of connected smart devices, his home pretty much shutdown.
