For my 9mm needs I'm all-in on the P365 platform. When I started CCing a few years ago I went thru many iterations of carry guns starting with the OG-26. About 5 years ago I got a P365 and that had been my main CC gun sporting a Hogue HandAll and nothing else. If I wasn't carrying my P365 I'd carry my Ruger LCP 2 for deep concealment or my G19 Gen5 if I was going further from home. I've participated in a competition or 2 running my G45 with RMR in a Safariland ALS holster.

I also have a P320 X-FIVE which was always supposed to get changed into something more akin to a sidearm carry like my G45.

Last year I traded in my P365 for a P365-X MACRO Comp topped with a Holosun 507 and swapped the X grip module for the WCP365 grip module. I usually carry with the 10rnd flush fit, occasionally with the 12 rnd. If I carry a spare mag it's a 15 rnder.

When I 1st saw the FUSE I was like "wtf Sig, why are you turning the ultimate carry gun into a P320?" But now I get it. Well I think I do. The P320 has a bad reputation. The P365 is quite popular so why not keep adding options?

I've never loved any Glock fully. I love some aspects about them but ergos are not one of them. Their lack of innovation over the decades is pretty disappointing and really, the removable FCU is really the greatest thing to happen to firearms since auto-loading became a thing (so says I with very little authority).

But I was watching a video discussing the guns of John Wick and it shows the scene of him getting out his box which had 2 HK P30s and 2 Glock 26s. I thought to myself, why would anyone pair those? Not sure what HK's smaller guns would look like or if there'd be mag compatibility there but there certainly is mag compatibility between the G26 and all the other 9mm Glocks of that time (pre-43).

Then I thought about my own situation. My P365, G19/45, P320 and then the FUSE jumped into my head.

I'm getting rid of my Glocks and the X-FIVE. I'm all in on the P365 and I'm pretty excited.

I got my FUSE a few weeks ago and have taken it out a couple of times. Really enjoyed shooting it. Will be getting an optic sooner or later, probably a comp/duty holster so I can run it in some competitions.

I built a FUSE before there was a FUSE (It's now for sale in the classifieds). Absolutely love how I built it out for my edc. I recently decided to go "all in" with the 1911 for edc. Went with a Springfield Armory Ronin AOS 4.25" 9mm. Nothing beats a 1911 trigger!
Just need to run some of my carry rounds though it and see how it shoots, then I can officially make it my new edc.

Congrats on the FUSE. It's the model that makes the most sense to me.

When I think of "building" a gun i think of people that actually build guns. Throwing a barrel in then clipping a light and bolting a optic on isn't building a gun in my book. Just remember fancy add ons dont make you a better shot, practice practice practice! I do own glocks with dots and fancy stuff but I find myself going back to the basics....a revolver or a 1911 with irons

I use "build" as I'm too lazy to type out "I gathered up (bought) all the necessary parts that meet my functionality and/or aesthetics criteria and "assemble/install" said parts into a gun that caters to my specific needs and requirements." YMMV of course…..

There, you happy now? :D

I say "put together" like Legos. I just had to give you a hard time.

Now you can copy your message for easier pasting later.

I'm a pretty literal person myself, and I do copy and paste things that I know I'm going to repeat. Work smarter, not harder.

My 365 is like a Lego kit :) .. so much you can do with one

Tossing mine in, love the thing. Although after holding the XL recently I do prefer the grip of it, so I might trade-in down the line. Love the Wilson combat grip.

Sometimes I throw my Obsidian on it just for fun.

They aren't bad guns and easy to shoot well for a small gun. I carry my p938 more due to size and grand power q1 outshoots it by a wide margin so it also gets more carry time. Plus my sig p365x red dot (sig brand) just totally freaked out for no reason. That doesn't inspire confidence in their optics.

Switched over to the 1911. Springfield Armory AOS Ronin 4.25" 9mm (Lightweight Commander). Every platform has its pros and cons. My p365 has been great and customized to my preferences. However, the "pros" side of it, at least for me, lean more in favor of the 1911. I prefer the trigger and the cocked-n-lock aspect of it among other things.

Cons are the reduced capacity and a bit heavier even with an alloy frame. Also not a ton of holsters at there compared to Glock, Sig, etc.

It I was limited to a polymer edc gun only, the P365 I put together would be my choice bar none…
