Well since there so many variations on both of those rifles,maybe you could help your cause by listing some of the configurations/models that you have the most interest in.
What is your price range ?
And if you look on here,there are a few nice ones for sale so that may give you some eye candy to help your decision.

Missed or did not contact a AK-47 on here for 390.00 or so in Salem, missed a great deal on a SKS in southern oregon for 200 with extra stock, but am pretty open, I don't like collapisable stocks, miss match stuff, and something I can shoot, would not turn down a deal on a K31 or a 8MM mauser....Let me know, I will be heading south in a few weeks so will see how it goes.....Ray
