I've been playing around with the AI on my phone and asked it to create some gun pictures. I'm pretty impressed with what it can come up with. It's not perfect. It doesn't always put levers in the right places, etc. Still pretty cool though. Here's a few examples. Anybody else have some to share?

On all three the ejection port is way too far forward. I like the swirly though...

Looks like a girsan trying to be an HK, a Jericho 1911 Beretta.... Thing and a POS mini Kimber.

Was your only prompt "gun" or were you more specific?

I don't remember exactly what I typed. It was something like "create a handgun unlike any other" or similar, lol.

When AI starts creating its own weapons to use against us (because we've been 'teaching' it how)...

... I don't think your HiPoint is going to be of much use. 😁

Using the time span of the first synthetic voice, circa 1978, to voice recognition automated customer service in ~2015 as a guide rule, AI will advance exponentially from an entertainment toy to actually doing stuff. In 10-15 years, you will be able to say (not type), "AI, build me a gun for (add specs here), and it will design and build all the parts for you to assemble. In 20 years, it will hand it to you assembled. In 20 years 1 month, it will shoot you with it.
