Aero precision EPC 9

I'm curious to know how many of you out there own one of the above or an alternate PCC ? I just completed a build of an EPC9 builders kit from Aero precision and was browsing through the forum categories looking for similar threads on EPC's or other manufacturers pistol caliber carbines and there really isn't any, other than a few classified adds selling lowers. I've emailed Joe link inquiring if we can get a dedicated category in classifieds and forum for these specific firearms. Anyone else think this is a good idea? Their too short in barrel length to be in rifle but they're in my opinion not a handgun either.

When things settle down, I'm planning on ordering a EPC-9 with a 16" barrel. I think it will be an excellent option for my wife. She can shoot a pistol, but not very well. I'm convinced she could manage this well, especially with a comfortable stock and a red dot optic on it.

A section for pistols that would really like to be rifles but are still legally pistols? Those threads are already in the handgun section so no need for a new one.

No it woudl make it more confusing to add another category. I'm not sure what you mean no posts on PCCs. There are a lot of them. Just not specific to epc9 or even ar9. Thats because there are so many PCCs. Ruger, mp5, Stribog, evo, sig rattler/mpx, pof, Mac 10, b&t, extar, cmmg banchee/guard etc and probably 30 others. There are tons of them. I have a bunch of PCCs but none of them are ARs cuz recoil on AR9 is much greater than other PCCs (depends on which one comparing to but I don't know of any with stronger recoil than ar9). Sig, Stribog roller delayed, mp5 can be incredibly mild. Cmmg radial delay deserves mention to as an after shooter.

It's too grey imo. The lines are way too blurred now between what is a rifle, pistol, carbine, etc. way way too blurred. I have .308 in mp5 format that's smaller than some PCCs. Glock pistol with stock, etc etc Nothing fits in the boxes (categories) anymore. The term PCC and PDW for example overlap and tons of guns probably font fit in either "category" but any given person woudl call it a pcc or pdw.

STEMI. Fell dead on the floor of the ER. No heartbeat, no respiration for half a minute confirmed by 6 lead ECG. They knew it was coming and were waiting with a crash cart. Hardly any brain damage as far as I can tell. If you're gonna die, the ER is the place to do it.

I did an Moab camo EPC-9 builder set a while ago. Had issues with the feed-cone not accepting hollow points, but Aero corrected the problem by installing a replacement barrel with enhanced geometry (Macon Armory). Have been pretty pleased after that, until I put a can on and experienced the smog only the blowback AR platform can provide. Hindsight, should have probably built a radial delay to help mitigate gas with a suppressor.
