Those look like the standard uppers. The enhanced stuff has the built in free float rail mount.

Incorrect. They are not the standard AR15 stripped uppers. These are M4E1 threaded receivers, allowing you to use any standard handguard/barrel nut combination, rather than Aero's proprietary handguard system for which the integrated system you describe was designed.

Is the "threaded" part the set screw in the forward assist?
