I have a meta quest 3 that is sat gathering dust which I was thinking of selling until I saw a video for the Ace Virtual Shooting Simulator!!!

Just wondering if anyone has used this or something like it? If so has it helped at all and what are your general thoughts on it?

It's only useful if you can duplicate the effect of shooting a 340 Weatherby Magnum with your face too close to the scope and end up with the complimentary eyebox-eyebrow.

I have one and I think its the best dry fire simulation by far. If consistently use it there willl be a noticable improvement. Also if you happen to have one of the models they have available for like I did it is a nice muscle memory for practicing drawing and grip along with the target acquisition.

I second this. I tried the Mantis system and was not getting what I needed. Bought ACES and it is so easy. I can shoot for 20 minutes before getting into bed or shoot for an hour plus. Multiple shooting scenarios and ways to cater to what you are looking for. Easy to slip training into small windows of time. Builds great muscle memory. One of my favorite games to play is where there are 3 doors. They each open at the same time and you have to shoot the target holding a firearm. The time window slots get smaller working your eyes (360 awareness) while getting a shot off from low ready. If you already have a MetaQuest it's a no brainer.

Buy a copy of Arizona Sunshine
Would not have expected it, but that game seemed to improve my actual marksmanship. Outside of that, it's just a really good time.

Same! Took my daughter to a VR place and saw some new stuff that I thought was cool. I ended playing a game called crisis brigade. Cheap and fun to play. Similar to Time Crisis.
