I brought crumbs to scatter which they were interested in... but they were also good at keep just out of arms reach. Should have brought a net.

That is the kind Wife will get this year, Plymouth Barr Rock. Last ones we had were so sweet.

In Hawaii, there are wild chickens everywhere. Damn Rosters crow at 2 or 3 am. After awhile, you grow used to it and can sleep through the night. They roost in trees at night to avoid predator's, mostly dogs and mongoose.
But they eat centipede's which I hate, so the chickens are not all bad.
