Here is a link to a pilot TV episode made for a reboot of the original Star Trek story, that was to be called STAR TREK: THE NEW VOYAGES. It featured new, much younger actors in the roles of the original cast.
It is not all that bad, and features an interesting storyline that centers around Mr. Sulu, in which he is forced to make a horrific choice between saving the life of his daughter, or the crew of the Enterprise.
Needless to say, this pilot was rejected. But here is a link to it on YouTube, for anyone that is into Star Trek big time, and would like a peek at the Star Trek TV series that was never made.
Note: There is a 24 minute introduction, before the program actually starts. Skip forward to the 24 minute mark in the video, if you don't want to listen to a discussion about the making of this pilot.
