I recently acquired a Hi-Point 9mm. It discharges well, but has a minor problem with the safety. You can't just flip the safety off. You have to hold the safety down. Fortunately it's right below the thumb when firing. It is just a little edge in training someone not to fire unless they are sure of their backdrops and target.
