Chaszel sells new barrel blanks in various calibers. I have bought from them for years and am happy with their products and customer service. good luck with your project, sounds like fun!

Second the chaszel option, also there are tons of cheap 9mm AR barrels out there you might be able to use.

Checked Chaszel's WEB Site and the only barrel blanks (Heavy) they have in 9m are 6" long for pistols. Everyone else I have checked is out of stock. :s0092:

I have a piece of (unknown) stock I could turn down, but it's 3" in diameter and is harder than hell. I should have kept that bent shaft from my boat. Part of the strut made a nice muzzle cap for my Blunderbuss.
