Here is your 1911 in a "Multitasking Model" ....
Colt Combat Commander 70 Series
Actually, the manufacturer of those pistols, Springfield Armory Inc., is a commercial company established in 1974 that has no relationship to the original Springfield Armory. The original Springfield Armory that made weapons (including 1911 pistols) for the US military was closed in 1968.
Step up to a Hi-cap 1911 pattern. Stay away from Para, but look into STI or SVI. Can't go wrong.
What? No Glock 21? It is now 2010, not 1911. Forget about buying any others until you purchase the Glock.
