Please join us as we invest a few short hours improving the quality of recreation in the Burn. A multi-group all-community event! With your help, we will be cleaning up the whole Larch Mnt recreational area and beyond! This is the 16th annual Pick Up The Burn event.

Lunch provided, Free prizes, Good deeds and Great People!

Bring gloves, boots, rake, pickup tools, magnet tool, bucket and a stewards heart! WA DNR will provided: trash bags & disposal!

Family Friendly. Recommend children 12 or older and with parent supervision.

This event qualifies for hours credited toward your free annual Discover Pass, from WA DNR. (Earn 24 hours of volunteer time with DNR and receive a free annual Discover Pass). Pass requirement is waived for the day of this event only.

Alright! Missed out last year: first the weather delay, and then [after failing a stress test] an angioplasty followed by a triple bypass.

This is a great experience for the kids. It gets them away from the electronics, teaches civil responsibility and they have a really good time! So bring the kids!

We recommend children be of 12 years or older and with parental supervision.

If I lived closer the old trusty flashlight would be out tonight. We have a tradition at our family Easter gatherings. It is kind of like regifting. We call it rehiding. Hope to see everyone in the morning.

I'm stuggling a little with the moving thing! But now that I'm home I can sit around all day tomorrow!

Had some fun shooting afterward with @6Corsa6 & @WrenchNguns . All shooting places were full so we went to the other side where we finally found a spot that would do.

Really good day, dispite the cool temps, AM rain and fog. Turned out just fine.

Certainly filled up the dumpster! Not too hard to do with over 50 people! Groups split up all over the mtn and met back at main camp for lunch & prizes. Here's some pics, (mostly the crew I was with all day).
