So maybe I'm crazy, but the old style slender S&W Diamond Grips with the inset brass escutcheons are both the best looking grips to my eye and the among the most comfortable in my hands, leastwise on N-framed guns. . . So I tracked down a K-frame sized set to play with on my K-Frames.

HEre they are mocked up on my m65-2.

I have never put such old grips on a stainless gun before. . . or seen anyone else do it. I know it is an anachronism, and would be more "acceptable" on a model 19, but, I kind of like it.

Opinions?

I've always known that you could do it, but never saw it done. For me what would be the deciding factor is how well it fits my hand. If that's the way it fits you, then it's perfect.
