Hey everyone!

I recently came into ~400 rounds of British production 303 British ammo. I figured it's a hard enough round to come across that I'd offer some for sale to the group.

I've tumbled them all to remove surface corrosion and will be case gauge checking each round (Yeah...I'm like that) to verify that they will chamber correctly, so they should be ready for anyone who wants to grab some in about 7-10 days.

Online they're asking $1.10-$1.50/round + shipping costs....I'm happy to sell these for $1 each, face-to-face in Bonney Lake.

If you feel like you have something interesting in trade I'm happy to hear it. I have some cash, and/or a Mossberg MVP in 223 I can use as trade collateral if necessary. I've got plenty of ARs currently, so no thanks to those.

If you're interested, feel free to send me a text at 757-589-7275.

Thanks! IMG_20250417_161540264_AE.jpg

Did you test fire a couple?
Haven't yet....the SMLE I got in for that deal is still in "Waiting period" purgatory until the 26th. Once I get it and chamber check the ammo I was going to test fire them.

Feel free to text me and we can keep in touch.

Did you just want a handful of rounds for cash, or do you have something else in mind? I'd love to get my hands on an AKV.

Whats the headstamp? If British made then most likely cordite loaded and corrosive .
I would assume they are all corrosive powders....that's what was used back then.

As for the head stamps: A 44, a CP, and and 11A on some. K52 and a 4 on another. 1943, 1A, and a K2 on another.

Most cartridges are brass/FMJ, while a minority of them are cupro-nickel jacketed.

early rounds some times will hang fire and some time double fire if tumbled will break down even more , pressure ? if you test fire sand bag and stand clear
Any old ammo is "at your own risk", but I have not seen hard evidence that tumbling rounds causes trouble...just old lore.
