I am definitely interested! Any idea of shipping cost to 87106?
I would have to check into shipping? Something I have never done? I have had ammunition shipped to me from suppliers, but I have never dealt with it? If I get a chance, I'll look into it and let you know. Thanks I was hoping someone within the area might be in need? I sold my U.S. Postal M1, and this is just taking up room in my safe 🤣

I am looking into options for getting the ammo down to Albuquerque, I will have to say though, that there is some interest locally? I used to truck through there every other week on my way to Laredo Texas, but I retired May 2024? I may know someone is still running that route? Thanks for your interest Steve

Well I'm not sure that it sucks 🤣. Just that the logistics are a little tough? I was checking with a friend who does get though there once in a while. But I will check with my local armory to see what it might take to get it down that way, if you are still interested? How far out of Albuquerque are you? Thanks for your interest. Regards Steve

I'm really close to the I-25 and I-40 interchange, about 3/4 mile SE. About as close to the middle of the town as can be, before all the new 'burbs popped up way out on the western bluffs. And, YES, I am still interested!

I am still interested, just would need to know about the logistics of getting it to me. It may just have to go FedEx...

I just checked with FedEx and the shipping cost would be around $110.00? Seems kinda high to me? I am still trying to contact a friend of mine that goes through there once a month? To see if he can help me out. Thanks. Steve

I appreciate what ever you can do, because $110 FedEx makes it painful...
Have you tried UPS? I recently shipped 30 pounds of ammo from PDX to Phoenix by UPS for $50. That included $15 extra to have it picked up from my house.
They don't accept ammo shipments at the UPS service centers any more.

So you packaged it and did the label yourself? That is actually a deal, but do you have to have a UPS account to do the label thing? And with loose ammo it might be VERY difficult to keep it "silent"... I guess it can be done with loose ammo if you do layers with bubble wrap and blue painters tape to hold the rounds in place. Then surround it or maybe line the inside of the box with styrofoam, but that's a lot of effort. Need to know UPS policy regarding ammo...

I will call them and ask. I appreciate your input. The weight of this ammo is approximately 45#. Thank you

Here is a photo of the head stamp. Like I believe that when I posted it, I had said that it was Korean surplus. From my limited knowledge, I am pretty sure that it was built in Korea?

Korean surplus is good stuff, and works just fine every time I've had it...
Well, I never had a problem with it, but I understand some not wanting it? I kinda refuse to run steel ammo through my weapons but some don't mind. To each their own. Still working on running down my friend that gets through there on his way to Laredo Texas?

All the South Korean import 30 Carbine I've ever had was brass, and I agree that I don't like using steel case ammo. I've had to for 5.45x39mm, but then that's for the old AK74, not for good old American steel firearms. Those surplus M1 Carbines are 80+ years old and getting on in age just like me, and I want mine to last, at least for as long I as I have left... Running ComBloc steel in them is something I won't do if I can help it.
