Wow! That escalated quickly. Just yesterday I received an email from ODFW saying it was a $10,000 reward. I didn't even realize there was a Metolius pack.

From the Orygunian:

"These beautiful animals don't deserve to die this way, and whoever killed this wolf should face the full force of the law,"

They did not specify how the wolf had died.

So, without revealing exactly how the wolf died are we supposed to just 'assume' it was human caused?

It's stupidity like this that makes reading any pro - liberal/pro - wildlife Earthmuffin news useless.

I have a good mind to call the Oregonian and pitch a biotsch about this.

Awww the poor wolf, surely dying of starvation, disease, dehydration or being torn apart by a bear would of been so much nicer for it than a shot to the head!

****s sake, people like this really believe nature is a disney movie.

Hey! Find the "pack" offer up a petting zoo at a nominal fee for the tree huggers, they'll feed em, no more hungry wolfs everyone's happy.
That reward will mostly disappear after going unclaimed on a mythical dead wolf.

I have been putting the Wolf MissStory pieces together and I will be claiming my reward.
I have played Clue enough to know...

Actual Grandmother's House security footage of the incident.
...that it was Mr. Lumber Jacques in the bedroom with the axe.

Back in the oldern winter days, my Grand Papa would harvest Minnesota lake ice. Wolves would follow him and his horse team... presumably hoping that one of them would fall lame.

We have wolves near us. I've seen plenty of tracks. The ranch down the road lost quite a few cattle last year from wolf attacks. They filed to ODFW for reimbursement, and were denied because "there are no wolves in that area." They ended up getting footage and were able to get some reimbursement, though, not what they wanted.

Wolves are cool animals, just like cheetahs and lions. Sure don't want to live by them though, and I especially don't want the deer and elk populations to suffer simply to placate the radical environmentalists.

We all know werewolves are fake, come on, grow up....the money is in capturing BIGFOOT! Pm me if you want in on my plan!
Too late...my former redneck neighbors already found BIGFOOT and sold it to some genius in California! :D
