- I have read and accept the classified system rules and terms of service.
This is a unmarked semi-auto rifle, without a manufacturer or serial number, which was not uncommon in the 1940's, 50's and 60's.
Same mode as the Stevens Springfield 87A "gill gun", but this model was probably sold through Montgomery Wards or an auto parts store.
It's called a "gill gun" because it has gill-like vents on the left side of the action opposite the ejection port, and one vent on the right side. The bolt handle also locks the bolt closed so it can be fired single shot like a bolt action.
Caliber: 22LR. Barrel: 24"
Tube-fed magazine. The barreled action is easy to remove from the stock with one thumb screw. See photos.
The scope is a "Foremost" 4x scope built for 22 rifles, with a 3/4" tube. The scope works, it is clear. Rifle is equipped with iron sights.
Price: $200
Transfers at Highline Firearms, Newberg, OR. No trades. Buyer is responsible for all fees.
Thanks for looking.
