Hey All, I've been doing a lot of searching and with everything on the market with AR15 platform builds, I'm even more confused than ever😂. I am by no means an expert, nor have I built very many AR's. Bought a Radian builders kit with the 17" handguard, lower, upper, and it comes with a few other things. I know I could have gotten off cheaper and probably just as well off with another manufacturer and I like to support local Oregon businesses, and I like their craftsmanship. I am going to get a Proof Research carbon fiber wrapped barrel and a Wilson Combat BCG. With all that said…. I'm a little confused as to what buffer tube/ spring set up to run. I have been looking at the JP silent capture and I know nothing about them. Also it seems like I'm having trouble finding a complete lower parts kit with trigger pins. I usually run Trigger Tech diamond triggers but they don't come with pins. The last 300BO I put together I just bought some anti walk pins from sportsman's to get it together. Any good sources for this stuff without it including a trigger? Pic of the 300BO just for sh*ts and giggles

Hey I have been running my 22 arc for a couple months and love it i got a ballistics advantage upper 18" and a aero lower with an aero lower kit and a

Super Semi-Automatic (SSA®) Trigger

Thank you for the info and I will look that up on geissele's web site. I ordered the JP silent capture spring kit with the different springs to tune it. I also got the mil spec geissele carbine buffer tube, diamond single stage trigger, Luth-AR MB3 stock.
Looking at the Proof Research carbon fiber barrel and the only one I can find is an 18". I really wanted to run a 20". Do you shoot past 300yrds? If so, how does the 18" barrel do?

Nice I have a couple proof barrels but none in ar style they are great barrels, I do, its mainly a coyote and wolf gun and I try to stay in the 500 yrd range just because I shoot long range and have other rigs for that.

So how did it go??

I'm about to neck down a bunch of Grendel brass for my build.

I pulled these two groups today with my 24" AR Grendel.

Hoping for equal or better with the 22 ARC I'm putting together.

Gonna pull down my 18" Sander's Armory barreled upper and throw the new build 22 ARC on that lower.

I'm running the Superlative Arms adjustable gas block and the SRS buffer in my 24" platform with excellent results for recoil.

Gonna run the same setup on the 22 ARC

It's been going really good with the build. I ended up getting a 22" BSF carbon barrel instead of a proof. Running a SLR adjustable gas block and JP silent capture buffer. I had to "clearance " the hand guard a little bit as it was hitting the gas block. I have shot it out to 800yrds and constantly hitting a 4"steel plate. I am using factory ammo as I am not set up to reload yet. Running the Hornady 62grn varmint rounds is what it really likes but it shoots all the way up to 88grn ELDM's really well also. I will see if I can find a pic of some groups it does.

That's FANTASTIC

I just ordered a large quantity of bullets from Midsouth for reloading.

Also got a set of dies for it coming as well

Do you save your brass? Would you want to sell it?

As for my build, I would expect to have what i need to finish sometime this week. I already had the SRS buffer and superlative arms adjustable gas block, BCM upper reciever (stripped) plus the scope. Ordered the hand guard and barrel and muzzle brake. Gonna rob the BCG and charging handle off of the Sanders armory upper I'm decommissioning (only a few hundred rounds through it and it shoots lights out, but the 24" version I built myself shoots better). I have a few spare BCM commercial BCG's I can finish building if i want to buy one more Grendel bolt, but I'll hold off for now

Thanks for the update!!
