2002 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 4x4, 165k miles, owned for the last 8 years. Properly maintained and serviced/repaired as required. This is the heavy duty work package with Dana 60 front and rear differentials, heavy duty brakes, transmission and oil cooler, etc.
The good:
*Complete rebuild on transmission less than 10k ago
*New water pump within 2500 miles
*New radiator within 500 miles
*New front and rear ring and pinion installed with new seals, etc. about 15K ago. The original gear set was 3.54. I replaced them with 4.11 and a limited slip in the rear diff
*Regular oil/lube service, diff service, air filter, plugs, etc.
* New rear window glass (poorly aimed piece of firewood)
*Lift/leveling kit installed
*Runs great, never let me down
The kinda good:
*Tires are about 50% (Kumho AT 285/75/16)
* Aftermarket aluminum wheels (stained)
*Work package so no carpet... easy to maintain
The so-so:
*Seats are great but driver's is well worn (still supportive)
*Former ODOT truck so well maintained through history but old ODOT stickers left sticky residue, can still be seen
*Lots of scratches and dents throughout from honest farm chores and hunting use (and two teen aged drivers)
*Dents and scratches help it look the part of a pickup
*Check engine light on for last 4-5 years. Have not had the code read.
*Antena broken off but radio still receives (generally)
$2750.00
Overall a great work or hunting rig that has proven reliable. Please begin a conversation with any questions. Thanks!
