Got the wife a used 1100 and I'm having a hard time finding a recoil pad. I don't even know if they make them pre-fitted.. I can only find limb savers for 12/16 ga. The gun to me, doesn't recoil but she is tiny and after going to Mid Valley on Saturday, she's got a hell of a bruise on her shoulder. Another problem would be that if the gun had a thick recoil pad put on it, it's going to be an inch longer than it is now and I'm thinking that'll be too big for her. So I guess what I'm wondering is, anyone know a good smith who could cut this thing down a bit and add a good pad to it? Its an older one (I can't read the date stamp) with the thin plastic plate now and from what I'm reading, they don't even make pads fitted for the old ones. If I cant find a relatively cheap option, she's getting a shooting vest instead lol
