I do use RL-19 for .308, but I got a PM accepting a trade for RL-22. So Pending that going through, this is gone.

Cool. I use all my RL22 for my 338LM
Dont you find RL19 too slow for 308, or are you pushing 200gr+ through a 26" or longer barrel?

I use RL22 for my 300WM. Haven't had any real issues with the RL15 on .308, though honestly haven't played around with a lot of other powders. Shooting larger (180g/185g) pills with it, and it groups up nice.

I started playing with it because 43 grains of RL-15 with 175 Sierra MatchKing at 2.80 is the military M118LR load. I figured if it was good enough for them, it was a good starting point for me.

Yes, I find 44grs of RL17 and 175 SMK at 2.810 groups better than I can shoot (i.e. I am the limiting factor here)
