I have a 1943 Enfield No 4 Mk1 BSA Shirley. $800. Must sell!
I am willing to drive within a 2-hour radius of Montesano, WA to meet at a FFL for exchange.
Apparently was re-arsenaled in 1952, possibly at Birmingham Small Arms (BSA) as there were a lot of FTR's (Factory Thorough Repair) in 1952-1953.
There is an import stamp on the underside of the barrel "GEMCO, PRINCETON, NJ". Probably came through in the early 1990's as that is when this was acquired by me.
The rear sight is a Mk1, which was likely a post-war refit as the Mk1's were used through 1942 and then post-war.
It's the one on the left in the first photo. Comes with reproduction sling, original Savage-Stevens bayonet (made 1941-1942), reproduction scabbard, and buttstock cleaning kit.
