I have a 1893 marlin in 38-55, shipped from marlin aug. of 1893, was special ordered with a 28" barrel and pistol grip stock, bore is fuzzy looking but rifling is present and it shoots very well, outside looks like it has been used a lot, the buttstock has a crack at the wrist that has been repaired sometime in its life. asking $900 dollars for this but am open offers or partial trades for old 22 rifles.
