***Holding off for a bit on this one***. Here's something you don't see very often it is a Navy Arms 1851 Griswold & Gunnison 36 cal boxed set made in Italy by Uberti in 1965 for Navy Arms. This is a replica of a confederate 1851 Griswold & Gunnison. I have not been able to find another like it on any online research. It is has never been fired and in mint condition. Still shows traces of packing grease in cylinder. Not bad for a 54 year old. Price is $375.00.

These shoot best with a .375 round ball...like the Colt '51 Navy...they were marketed as .36 caliber when in fact they are .38 caliber.

Cool revolver...and good luck with your sale.

Well I don't have a bore gauge but just used my caliper and both the cylinder and bore are right around .367. So I would say it is a true 36 cal

All I know is the bore and cylinder are the same size They do not differ and are right around .367 my caliper, just how it came from the factory. Thanks

Far better than my earlier suggestion of .350 round ball...Track of the Wolf sells .358 and .360 round ball.
The revolver in the OP is very nice and a historically accurate copy of a rare CSA revolver.

Not to clutter up your sales ad too much...
Regardless of the actual caliber...round ball is made that will work and seems to be commonly found...
I'd be happy to offer up some load suggestions to the buyer.
