17Mach II

I have a NEF in 17Mach II and have put 50 rounds through it since I bought it new. It is consistantly splitting cases. 18 of the 50 have been split from the neck down to the shoulder. The ammo was made by Hornaday and is factory new. Any Ideas? I'm at a loss :huh:

I would get the headspace checked on the gun just to be sure. If that checks out fine then I would give Hornady a call.

What is the lot number? There was a very large batch that went out that has had issues, both CCI and Hornady.
check the cases and see if the splits are on unfired rounds.
Try remington or eley, they don't have the same problems.
