Are you in a position to make this trade?I would imagine around 1k
I agree it is a very popular powder right now. Thank you.Sorry I am not in need of any Varget at the moment. If I did need some a fair trade would be around 1# per 1k.
I admit I'm fishing and looking for best offer.I would offer 500 primers if the powder is new.

I just traded someone 1# of H1000 for 1k CCI500s.I'll trade you those 500 SPP's I offered Goodnight for a couple grams of what your smok'in sport...
It would be reasonable to look at the prices the items would easily sell for in the secondary market. If a pound of Varget would fetch the same price as a brick of small pistol primers, than a straight across trade could be expected.I just traded someone 1# of H1000 for 1k CCI500s.
Primers are worth around $35. Why would you think a $35 item that you can't find in stock at a store is worth more than a $35 item that you can't find in stock in stores?

Varget is new this year unopened container.
Here is my counter offer and rational behind it.
1lb Varget store cost no tax = 35.00 (when available at Sportsman's)
SPP CCI or Federal store cost 4.25 per 100 (cost last time I bought them at Fisherman;s marine)
35.00 divided by 4.25 =800 primers
If we are to leave empty shelf, panic and price gouging out of this equation.
A true dollar for dollar trade. Does this make sense?
Sportsmans had about two dozen bricks of primers this morning, some bricks as low as $23.99 but zero Varget.Varget is new this year unopened container.
