The Smith & Wesson (S&W) Model 28, also known as the Highway Patrolman, is an N-frame revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge, in production from 1954 to 1986. It is a budget version of the S&W Model 27.
I think it dates to the late 70's or early 80's. Service grips, mechanically sound, it times well, b/c gap looks to be about .006. Finish is better than 80% only some holster wear. Face to face in tacoma.
An N frame 357 will last a lifetime!
Edit: according to one site I checked made between '75...
... to the point that DA trigger pulls won't even advance past the 5th round. Even pulling the hammer back for an SA shot gets tight.
Snap caps and unloaded all is smooth as silk.
What am I missing? Any and all help appreciated.

The Highway Patrolman is a true classic wheel gun and a favorite of law enforcement. Manufactured 1966-67 and overall, in great condition considering its age. Professionally cleaned and will go to the new owner spotless!
