7.92 kurz
The 7.92×33mm Kurz (designated as the 7.92 x 33 kurz by the C.I.P.) is a rimless bottlenecked intermediate rifle cartridge developed in Nazi Germany prior to and during World War II, specifically intended for development of the Sturmgewehr 44 (assault rifle). The ammunition is also referred to as 7.9mm Kurz (German: Kurz meaning "short"), 7.9 Kurz, 7.9mmK, or 8×33 Polte. The round was developed as a compromise between the longer 7.92×57mm full-power rifle cartridge and the 9×19mm Parabellum pistol cartridge, and is the first mass-used intermediate cartridge (German: Mittelpatrone) in the world.
Hello all,
I have 500 rounds of fresh PPU 7.92x33 ammo and 450-480 rounds of 7.92x33 soft point that was made from what looks to be 30.06 brass (Was previously bought from another NWFA member)
I'm asking $550 for the PPU ammo and $250 for the other lot. Not going to ship these but willing to...
When a M1 Carbine and StG-44 love each other very much ....
In all seriousness, interesting "missing link" from the modern carbine and rifle development.
