I don't quite get the hate that some have for Sportsman's... Always good experiences there, they're friendly and there isn't the attitude from other LGSs. Take the good and bad I guess.
The gun guys are usually friendly, helpful, and informative.
Cons
Normally I like to support local businesses even if prices are a bit higher--plus you can 'see in person'. However there was just too much price difference both on a pair of shooting muffs and a range bag. Online won. :-(
I enjoy going there, even if it is just to drool on the guns.
