Northwest Armory - Milwaukie

Decent prices in general, very good selection, friendly folks even when there was a crush of people. I go here when I'm less patient, and my quieter walking-distance LGS is out of stock.

I picked up my current CCW (M&P .40) there, and they had the lowest price in town at the time on my wife's Sigma.

I just wanted to give props to NW Armory for my experience there today! I went in to buy either a Ruger LCP or a Ruger Mark III. I wasn't sure when I walked in, but I ended up getting the LCP this time. My first helper was named Dan who was friendly, polite, and patient as I handled all the firearms I was interested in.

I then browsed around the store a bit. When I settled on the LCP, I was assisted by Dale who was also extremely helpful, friendly, and polite. I have never experienced the level of customer service in a gun store in the Portland area as I did today at NW Armory. I wasn't treated like a non-person, I didn't get any kind of attitude for asking questions, and everyone there today seemed like they were totally willing to go out of their way to help! Who would have thought? ACTUAL customer service!

I made up my mind today that I'm going back there to buy my Ruger Mark III when I'm ready, even if another store has it cheaper. Major hats off to you guys!

I wasted a good half hour or more of a gentlemans time there lately (Unfortunately drawing a blank on the name), he was totally helpful and had no problem dragging through their magazines and online providers to cross reference specs that I was unsure of on about a dozen rifles. That was before he knew I was a cash in hand buyer!
Everywhere else I stopped seemed to give me all the answers I didn't like about the particular coyote rifle/s I was interested in, including them pretending there was some difficulty in ordering.
He didn't care about having to order it for me, it's far from a rare gun so I don't know what the deal with a couple other shops was. $200 down, it was there in 5ish days, paid the balance and have a coyote rifle I'm very happy with!

I've been in there twice in the last couple weeks looking at a low buck .38 snub. I've asked too many questions, some of them very dumb.... but they have been more than helpful with answers and recommendations without trying to up-sale me to something I can't afford. They will be getting a lil over $300 of my money on the 15th for a new .38 Taurus, ammo, and IWB holster. If you haven't been there, go check 'em out. They don't have the selection of Keith's, but you don't get the fast food attitude either. I'll be a customer for a long time!

Purchased every gun I have (with the exception of my trap gun) from these guys. Karl and the gang are top notch. Sometimes when they're busy, it's hard to get their attention but they're usually nice enough to let me know that they'll be right with me. Noah is a wealth of knowledge, Dennis gets straight to the point and Karl will cut you one **** of a deal if you get him in the right mood I got my LMT, LCR, XDM, 22/45 and 15/22 from them. Unlike nearly every vendor on gunbroker.com, they don't charge you a credit card processing fee.

I've both bought(including via Auction Arms)and sold there-a big two thumbs up all around!

I just purchased a handgun from them and had a very positive experience. I really enjoyed talking to the people there and my purchase was very reasonably priced. I couldn't be happier!

Just picked up a Springfield R.O., and they matched a competitor's price. I was actually on my way to Keith's, but NW Armory is closer. NICS was down, but otherwise it was a flawless transaction. I was a bit turned off during the ammo scarcity because they doubled their prices, but I'm glad I gave them a call today.

Went there on Last Wed. Found a CMMG AR lower for 249.00. It even had extra single sling mount on it which isnt normal $20.00 value. I had previously visited Keiths. They had the same lower for 349.00. minus the sling mount. Bought the lower was easy smooth transaction and even spent a few minutes browsing the accessories a decent selection. Defiantly do business again there very friendly staff and Yellow Lab ^^

I reviewed the cost of building a complete Lower. 130.00 stripped lower about 70.00 for AR lower parts kit. 75.00 for buffer tube spring buffer and collapsible stock. Personal cost of self assembling the lower accurately and clean.

Purchased a few from them over the past several months. My favorite local shop so far. Have to drive over from Beaverton, but worth it not to get the typical "gun shop attitude" that I find at every other shop. Very helpful, good deals, and family owned and operated. Plus you get to hear that crazy-sounding visa printer working away under the counter - bonus!

Nice people, very helpful and patient. Pretty good inventory of all types of firearms and lots of ammo choices. They aren't very local for me, but the made me feel welcome which is way more than I can say for guncrafters. I'll definitely go back. +5

NW Armory is my go-to local gun shop. I've always experienced good (and patient) service, even when they're busy and I'm taking my sweet time making a decision. Was in last weekend and they had a decent inventory, plenty of cheap ammo in stock and gave me a great price on a new S&W 686. Thumbs up!

I have no idea what a handgun fee was; it wasn't explained to me. At least I got the background check free (net/net?)?

Anyway, I'd give them 4.5/5 (less half star for the confusion). Great-looking firearms. Wish they'd have live stock updates (and an updated site).

I was there the day before yesterday, looking for reloading stuff. The inventory was low, but not too bad, and although there were a lot of customers in the store, the staff did their best to be of service. Everytime I've been there, it's been a pleasant experience.

i've been there twice this week. both times greeted with a smile and lots of assistance offered, though i said i was just browsing. today i stopped in with my kids, to pick up some ammo; the staff was again totally friendly.
bought a case of 1000 Sellier & Bellot 9mm FMJ for $199 on sale. like it better than blazer, and i'd much rather support a local shop than spend money at wally world.

their selection of firearms is decent, with what i think is fair prices... a small selection of used handguns that were priced better than anything i see at Keiths.

Friendly people, close enough to home and work, i'll be back.
